1. License

AstroSanmei is provided for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, redistribute, sell, reverse engineer, or extract the app, artwork, text, calculation logic, or bundled databases without permission.

2. Nature of Content

AstroSanmei provides Sanmei-inspired readings, character interpretations, similarity scores, compatibility features, daily timing, and fictional worldbuilding content. All content is provided for personal entertainment, reflection, and character exploration only. AstroSanmei does not provide medical, legal, financial, psychological, religious, career, relationship, or other professional advice.

3. Prohibited Uses

You may not use AstroSanmei for professional or commercial fortune-telling, astrology, counseling, coaching, consulting, religious guidance, client readings, paid reports, or advisory services. You may not present AstroSanmei’s results as professional advice, verified predictions, diagnoses, guaranteed outcomes, or authoritative judgments about any person. You may not use AstroSanmei to make or support important decisions for another person in a professional, paid, or advisory context.

4. Data Handling

Profile and birth information entered into AstroSanmei is stored locally on your device. This includes birth information for your own profile, registered characters, and transfer students. AstroSanmei does not send this profile and birth information to a developer-operated server. If you use birth place search, Apple’s MapKit may process the place search request. AstroSanmei does not receive or store those search queries on a developer-operated server.

5. Purchases and Subscriptions

In-app purchases, subscriptions, subscription status checks, and purchase restoration may be handled through Apple StoreKit/App Store. Apple’s terms and App Store settings may apply to billing, refunds, and subscription management.

6. Ownership and Trademarks

AstroSanmei, including its name, logo, characters, text, images, designs, worldbuilding, app interface, and related content, is owned by or licensed to MT Scientech LLC, except for open-source components and third-party materials identified in the app. AstroSanmei is a trademark of MT Scientech LLC and is a registered trademark in Japan. You may not use the AstroSanmei name, logo, characters, artwork, screenshots, text, or other app content for commercial purposes, client services, paid reports, advertising, merchandise, redistribution, or derivative products without prior written permission from MT Scientech LLC.

7. Disclaimer

AstroSanmei is provided for entertainment, reflection, and character exploration only. Do not rely solely on AstroSanmei for important decisions. The app is not intended for professional use, client services, paid readings, counseling, diagnosis, legal advice, financial advice, medical advice, religious guidance, or any other professional advisory purpose. To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for damages arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on the app.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court.

Trademark Notice: AstroSanmei is a trademark of MT Scientech LLC. AstroSanmei is a registered trademark in Japan owned by MT Scientech LLC. All other trademarks, service marks, and company names are the property of their respective owners.

Open Source Licenses

The Composable Architecture: AstroSanmei uses The Composable Architecture by Point-Free, Inc. The package is swift-composable-architecture and is distributed under the MIT License.
